The Mission of DASH is to promote a Comprehensive School Health Framework for school health issues for children and youth in British Columbia. When people and organizations work together in a collaborative, coordinated manner in school community’s… attitudes, values and behaviors can be changed. The result is not only healthier students and better learners, but also ultimately, happy and productive members of society.

Vision

 That every school-aged child and youth in British Columbia is part of a health-promoting school community.

DASH Goals

  1. To create and maintain networks and alliances to improve the health and learning of children in schools
  2. To gather and share information about the nature, scope and effectiveness of school health
  3. To connect schools to services and resources that contribute to student health
