Healthy School Network processes and strategies will have the greatest impact when actions are harmonized across the components of a healthy school.  However, we know each school is unique and begins the process of improving student health and learning by prioritizing their own specific area for improvement.  Although schools may find their initial focus begins in one area such as healthy eating or active living, this lead to more broader or comprehensive approaches that both create school cultures that support greater student health and achievement and delve deeper into more complex issues.
